Warrick Bishop, a cardiologist, wrote a book entitled Have You Planned Your Heart Attack? and initially needed some cartoon style illustrations to incorporate. The job grew to include not only the range of light cartoons and more detailed medical illustrations but the design and typesetting of the whole publication.
